(Lyrics) Satan’s Synagogue Land Medley Song Versions One to Nineteen
Music, Lyrics and Spoken Words by Leslie (aka Jesse) Hughes ©
(Adapted from Dt 32:15-43)

And this is what the Lord, who is the Spirit (2Co 3:17)
Says to the disobedient godless men
Whose condemnation was written about long ago (Jude)
Who rebel against the words of God
And despise the council of the Most High (Heb 3:7 to Heb 4:11, Ps 107:11)
By worshipping foreign gods and detestable idols
That they sacrifice to demons, which are not God (Dt 32:16-17, Dt 33:26-29, Isa 44:2)
And by making the Spirit who is the Lord jealous by what is no god
And angering the Spirit of the Lord (2Co 3:17, Isa 11)
With their worthless idols:

Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land, down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Satan’s Synagogue Land
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land, down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Satan’s Synagogue Land
You’ll find Satan’s synagogue man, down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
The men whose condemnation was written about long ago
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land, down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Satan’s Synagogue Land

They make the Spirit of the Lord jealous by what is a no god
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And they anger the Holy Spirit with their worthless idols
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
They make Christ a detestable idol they sacrifice to demons
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Which are not God Almighty
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Therefore calamities will be sent upon them
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And arrows will be spent against them
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Wasting famine, consuming pestilence and deadly plague
Will be sent down to Satan’s Synagogue Land
The fangs of wild beasts and the venom of vipers that glide in the dust
Will be sent down to Satan’s Synagogue Land
In the street the sword will make them childless, and in their homes terror will reign
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Young men and young women will perish, infants and gray-haired men
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And it is possible the Holy Spirit will scatter and blot out from the memory of mankind
All those down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Therefore do not be the adversary and misunderstand and say
Our hand has triumphed the Lord who is the Spirit has not done all this
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

For they are a nation without sense
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
There is no discernment in them
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
If only they were wise and would understand this
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And discern what their end will be
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land!

“How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Unless their Rock had sold them, unless the Lord had given them up?
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
For their rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And from the fields of Gomorrah
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Their grapes are filled with poison, and their clusters with bitterness
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Their wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

"Have I not kept this in reserve and sealed it in my vaults?
For those down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
It is mine to avenge; I will repay
Those down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
In due time their foot will slip
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them"
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

“The Lord will judge his people and have compassion on his servants
When he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free
He will say: "Now where are their gods, the rock they took refuge in
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
The gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
And drank the wine of their drink offerings?
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
Let them rise up to help you! Let them give you shelter!”
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

"See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal
And no one can deliver out of my hand
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
I lift my hand to heaven and declare: As surely as I live forever
When I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand grasps it in judgment
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
I will take vengeance on my adversaries and repay those who hate me
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
I will make my arrows drunk with blood, while my sword devours flesh:
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
The blood of the slain and the captives, the heads of the enemy leaders"
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

“Rejoice, O nations, with his people
For he will avenge the blood of his servants
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land
He will take vengeance on his enemies
And make atonement for his land and people”
Down in Satan’s Synagogue Land

(Isa 28:14-22)
“Therefore, hear the word of the Lord you scoffers
Who rule this people in Jerusalem
You boast, ‘We have entered into a covenant with death
With the grave we have made an agreement
When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by us, it cannot touch us
For we have made a lie our refuge, and falsehood our hiding place’

So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone
A precious cornerstone for a sure foundation
The one who trusts will never be dismayed
I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line
Hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie
And water will overflow your hiding place
Your covenant will death will be annulled
And your agreement with the grave will not stand
When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it
As often as it comes it will carry you away
Morning after morning, by day and by night, it will sweep through

The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror
The bed is too short for you to stretch out on
The blanket too narrow to wrap around you
The Lord will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim
He will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon
To do his work, his strange work
And perform his task, his alien task
Now stop your mocking, or your chains will become heavier
The Lord, the Lord Almighty, has told me
Of the destruction decreed against the whole land”

(Isa 1:10-17)
“Therefore hear the word of the Spirit of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom
Listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!
"The multitude of your sacrifices--what are they to me?" says the Lord
"I have more than enough of burnt offerings
Of rams and the fat of fattened animals
I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats
When you come to appear before me
Who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?
Stop bringing meaningless offerings!
Your incense is detestable to me
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—
I cannot bear your evil assemblies
Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates
They have become a burden to me, I am weary of bearing them
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you
Even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen
Your hands are full of blood, wash and make yourselves clean
Take your evil deeds out of my sight!
Stop doing wrong, learn to do right!
Seek justice, encourage the oppressed
Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow”

(Titus 1:10-16)
“For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers
Especially those of the circumcision group
They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households
By teaching things they ought not to teach-and that for the sake of dishonest gain
It was one of themselves, one of their own prophets, who said
"Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, and lazy gluttons"
This testimony is true
Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith
And will pay no attention to Jewish myths
Or to the commands of those who reject the truth
For to the pure, all things are pure
But to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure
In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him
They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good”

(Isa 28:9-13)
“And who are they trying to teach?
And to whom are they explaining their message?
To children just weaned from the milk?
To those just taken from the breast?
For it is, do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule, a little here, a little there
Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues
The Sovereign Lord, (Who is the Spirit 2Co 3:17), will speak to this people
To whom he said:
“This is the resting place, let the weary rest”
And “This is the place of peace”
But they would not listen
So then, the word of the Sovereign Lord to them will become
Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule, a little here, a little there
So that they will go and fall backward, and are injured, snared and captured”

(Ro 1:24-32)
“Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts
To sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie
And worshiped and served created things
Rather than the Creator-who is forever praised, Amen

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts
Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women
And were inflamed with lust for one another
Men committed indecent acts with other men
And received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile
To retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind
To do what ought not to be done
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity
They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice
They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful
They invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents
They are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless
Although they know God's righteous decree
That those who do such things deserve death
They not only continue to do these very things
But also approve of those who practice them”

(Jude 1:4-7)
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago
Have secretly slipped in among you
They are godless men, who change the grace of our God
Into a license for immorality
And deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord
Though you already know all this
I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt
But later destroyed those who did not believe
And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority
But abandoned their own home
These he has kept in darkness
Bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns
Gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion
They serve as an example of those who suffer
The punishment of eternal fire

(Jude 1:10-13)
For these vile men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand
And what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals
These are the very things that destroy them
Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain
They have rushed for profit into Balaam's error
They have been destroyed in Korah's rebellion
These men are blemishes at your love feasts
Eating with you without the slightest qualm
Shepherds who feed only themselves
They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind
Autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted-twice dead
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame
Wandering stars
For whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever

(2Pt 2:1-4)
For there are many false prophets among the people
Just as there will be false teachers among you
They will secretly introduce destructive heresies
Even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them
Bringing swift destruction on themselves
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute
In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up
Their condemnation has long been hanging over them
And their destruction has not been sleeping
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned
But sent them to hell
Putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment

(2Pt 2:12-19)
And these vile men blaspheme in matters they do not understand
And they are like brute beasts, and creatures of instinct
Born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish
For they will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done
Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight
They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you
With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning,
They seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-
And they are an accursed brood!
They have left the straight way
And wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor
Who loved the wages of wickedness
But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey-
A beast without speech-who spoke with a man's voice
And restrained the prophet's madness
These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm
And the blackest darkness is reserved for them
For they mouth empty, boastful words
And, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature
They entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error
They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-
For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him

(2Ti 3:1-9)
And these vile men are the people who are the lovers of themselves
The lovers of money, who are boastful, proud, abusive, and disobedient to their parents
The ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, and the slanderous
Those without self-control, who accuse and mock celestial beings
The brutal men who are not lovers of the good, but treacherous, rash, and conceited
The lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
Having a form of godliness but denying its power
And we will have nothing to do with them
For they are the kind who worm their way into homes
And gain control over weak-willed women
Who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires
Always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses
So also these men oppose the truth--men of depraved minds
Who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected
But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men
Their folly will be clear to everyone, they are merely demons

(1Co 8:4-6)
“So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols:
We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world
And that there is no God but one
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth
(As indeed there are many "gods" and many "Lords")
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father
From whom all things came and for whom we live
And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ
Through whom all things came and through whom we live”

(1Co 3:11)
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ”

(1Co 3:21-23)
“So then, no more boasting about men!
All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas
Or the world or life or death or the present or the future-all are yours
And you are of Christ, and Christ is of God”

(1 Co 10:1-5)
“For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers
That our forefathers were all under the cloud
And that they all passed through the sea
They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea
They all ate the same spiritual food, and drank the same spiritual drink
For they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them
And that rock was Christ
Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them
And their bodies were scattered over the desert”

(Psalm 18:31-50)
“For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights
He trains my hands for battle; so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze
You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me
You stoop down to make me great
You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn”

“I pursued my enemies and overtook them
I did not turn back till they were destroyed
I crushed them so that they could not rise; and they fell beneath my feet
You armed me with strength for battle; you made my adversaries bow at my feet
You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes
They cried for help, but there was no one to save them—
To the Lord, but he did not answer
I beat them as fine as dust borne on the wind
I poured them out like mud in the streets”

“You have delivered me from the attacks of the people
You have made me the head of nations
People I did not know are subject to me,
As soon as they hear me, they obey me
Foreigners cringe before me
They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds”

“The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!
He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me
Who saves me from my enemies
For you exalted me above my foes; and from violent men you rescued me
Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O Lord
I will sing praises to your name, for the Lord gives his king great victories
He shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever”

(Heb 3:1-19)
“Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling
Fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess
He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house Yet Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses
Just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself
For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything
Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house
Testifying to what would be said in the future
But Jesus who is the Christ is faithful as a Son over God's house
And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we have faith”

“So, as the Holy Spirit says:
"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion
During the time of testing in the desert
Where your fathers tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did
That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said
'Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways'
So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest'"
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart
That turns away from the living God
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today
So that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness
We have come to share in Jesus is the Christ if we hold firmly till the end
The confidence we had at first, as has just been said:

"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion"
Who were they who heard and rebelled?
Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
And with whom was he angry for forty years?
Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert?
And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest
If not to those who disobeyed?
So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief”

(1Co 10:6-10)
“Now these things occurred as examples to keep us
From setting our hearts on evil things as they did
Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written:
"The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did-
And in one day twenty-three thousand of them died
We should not test the Lord, as some of them did-and were killed by snakes
And do not grumble, as some of them did-and were killed by the destroying angel”

Therefore do not follow the example of Aaron’s old order of disobedience
When Aaron rebelled against the words of God
And despised the council of the Most High (Heb 3:7 to Heb 4:11, Ps 107:11)
By worshipping foreign gods and detestable idols
That Aaron sacrificed to demons, which are not God (Dt 32:16-17, Dt 33:26-29, Isa 44:2)
For the following passage from Exodus chapter 34 verses two to four
Describes Aaron’s old order act of disobedience
When Aaron tested the Spirit of the Lord by indulging in idolatry
Sexual immorality and pagan revelry
By fashioning an image idol in the shape of a calf that he claimed to be a god:

(Ex 32:2-4)
“And Aaron said unto them
"Take off the gold earrings that your wives
Your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me."
So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron
Aaron took what they handed him and made it into an idol
And cast it into the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool
Then they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt"
When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced
"Tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord"
So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings
And presented fellowship offerings
Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry”

(Ps 106:36-39)
“They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them
They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons
They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan
And the land was desecrated by their blood
They defiled themselves by what they did
And by their deeds they prostituted themselves”

(Mic 1:6-7)
"Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of rubble
A place for planting vineyards
I will pour her stones into the valley and lay bare her foundations
All her idols will be broken to pieces
All her temple gifts will be burned with fire
I will destroy all her images
Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes
As the wages of prostitutes they will again be used"

(Isaiah 44:6-11)
(For) "This is what the Lord says (“The Lord is the Spirit” 2Co 3:17)
Israel's King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty
I am the first and I am the last, apart from me there is no God
Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it
Let him declare and lay out before me what has happened
Since I established my ancient people
And what is yet to come--yes, let him foretell what will come
Do not tremble, do not be afraid
Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago?
You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me?
No, there is no other Rock; I know not one"
All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless
Those who would speak up for them are blind
They are ignorant, to their own shame
Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit him nothing?
He and his kind will be put to shame; craftsmen are nothing but men
Let them all come together and take their stand
They will be brought down to terror and infamy”

(Somewhere it is spoken in 1Co 10:19-22)
Is a sacrifice offered to an idol anything, or is an idol anything?
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God
And I do not want you to be participants with demons
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too
You cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons
Are we trying to arouse the Lord's jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

(Isa 27:1)
“In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword
His fierce, great and powerful sword
Leviathan the gliding serpent
Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea”

(Eze 29:3-9)
“This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
"'I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt
You great monster lying among your streams,
You say, "The Nile is mine; I made it for myself"
But I will put hooks in your jaws
And make the fish of your streams stick to your scales
I will pull you out from among your streams
With all the fish sticking to your scales
I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams
You will fall on the open field and not be gathered or picked up
I will give you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air
Then all who live in Egypt will know that I am the Lord
"'You have been a staff of reed for the house of Israel
When they grasped you with their hands
You splintered and you tore open their shoulders
When they leaned on you, you broke and their backs were wrenched
"'Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
I will bring a sword against you and kill your men and their animals
Egypt will become a desolate wasteland
Then they will know that I am the Lord” (Who is the Spirit 2Co 3:17)

(Eze 44:2-3, Eze 44:10, Eze 44:12-13)
For the Sovereign Lord says:
“This gate is to remain shut, it must not be opened
No one may enter through it
It is to remain shut because the Lord, the God of Israel
Has entered through it
The prince himself (“You who are and who were, the Holy One” of Israel Rev 16:5)
Is the only one who may sit inside the gateway
To eat in the presence of the Lord (Who is the Spirit 2Co 3:17)
He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way."
“The Levites who went far away from me when Israel went astray (Eze 44:10)
And who wandered from me after their idols
Must bear the consequences of their sin”
“They have served idols and made the house of Israel fall into sin (Eze 44:12-13)
Therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand
That they must bear the consequences of their sin
Declares the Sovereign Lord
They are not to come near to serve me as priests
Or come near any of my holy things, or my most holy offerings
They must bear the shame of their detestable practices”

(1Ti 4:1-7)
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith
And follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons
Such teachings come through hypocritical liars
Whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron
They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods
Which God created to be received with thanksgiving
By those who believe and who know the truth
For everything God created is good
And nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving
Because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer

If you point these things out to the brothers (and the sisters)
You will be a good minister of Jesus is the Lord and Christ
Brought up in the truths of the faith
And of the good teaching that you have followed
Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales
Rather, train yourself to be godly” (For God is with us” Isa 8:10, Mt 1:23)

(Ro 14:1-4)
“Accept him whose faith is weak
Without passing judgment on disputable matters
One man's faith allows him to eat everything
(Except eating the Lamb Christ as a detestable idol muffin that is sacrificed to demons
Which are not God, Dt 32:15-17)
But another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables
The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not
And the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does
For God has accepted him
Who are you to judge someone else's servant?
To his own master he stands or falls
And he will stand, for Jesus who is both Lord and Christ
Is able to make him stand”

(Isa 30:15-17)
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says:
"In repentance and rest is your salvation
In quietness and trust is your strength
But you would have none of it
You said, 'No, we will flee on horses.
Therefore you will flee!
You said, 'We will ride off on swift horses'
Therefore your pursuers will be swift!
A thousand will flee at the threat of one
At the threat of five you will all flee away
Till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop
Like a banner on a hill"

(Ezekiel Chapter 34)
“This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves!
Should not shepherds take care of the flock?
You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals
But you do not take care of the flock
You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured
You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost
You have ruled them harshly and brutally
So they were scattered because there was no shepherd
And when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals
My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill
They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them

"'Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord
Because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered
And has become food for all the wild animals
And because my shepherds did not search for my flock
But cared for themselves rather than for my flock
Therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock
I will remove them from tending the flock
So that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves
I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them

"'For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
I myself will search for my sheep and look after them
As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them
So will I look after my sheep
I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered
On a day of clouds and darkness
I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries
And I will bring them into their own land
I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel
In the ravines and in all the settlements in the land
I will tend them in a good pasture
And the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land
There they will lie down in good grazing land
And there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel
I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord
I will search for the lost and bring back the strays
I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak
But the sleek and the strong I will destroy
I will shepherd the flock with justice

"'As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats
Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture?
Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet?
Is it not enough for you to drink clear water?
Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?
Must my flock feed on what you have trampled
And drink what you have muddied with your feet?

"'Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them:
See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep
Because you shove with flank and shoulder
Butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away
I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered
I will judge between one sheep and another
I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them
He will tend them and be their shepherd
I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them
I the Lord have spoken

"'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts
So that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety
I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill
I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing
The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops
The people will be secure in their land
They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke
And rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them
They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them
They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid
I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops
And they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them
And that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord
You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people
And I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord'"

(Isa 11:1-9)
“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse
From his roots a Branch will bear fruit
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding
The Spirit of counsel and of power
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord—
And he will delight in the fear of the Lord
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes
Or decide by what he hears with his ears
But with righteousness he will judge the needy
With justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth
With the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked
Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist”

“The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat
The calf and the lion and the yearling together
And a little child will lead them
The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together
And the lion will eat straw like the ox
The infant will play near the hole of the cobra
And the young child put his hand into the viper's nest
They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea”

(Lk 4:14-21)
“Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit
And news about him spread through the whole countryside
He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up
And on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom
And he stood up to read
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him
Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me
Because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
And recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed
To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down
The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him
And he began by saying to them
"Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

“Here I amit is written about me in the scroll
I have come to do your will O God” (Heb 10:7)
To proclaim the New Order and the New Covenant (Heb 8: 7-13, Jer 31:31-34)
To unseal the scroll in the book of Revelation (Rev 5:1-5)
To measure the temple of God and the altar
And to count the worshipers there (Rev 11:1, Eze 40:3-4)
Until there is a Victory of the Word of God who is the Lamb and White Horse
(Rev 17:14, Rev 15: 7, Rev 19:11-21)
A New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem (Rev Chapters 21 and 22, 2Pe 3:13)
And a change of the priesthood, from the order of Aaron
To the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews Chapter 7)

(Rev 21:1-7)
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth
For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away
And there was no longer any sea
I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem
Coming down out of heaven from God
Prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying
"Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them
They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God
He will wipe every tear from their eyes
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain
For the old order of things has passed away."
He who was seated on the throne said
"I am making everything new!" Then he said
"Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega
The Beginning and the End
To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost
From the spring of the water of life
He who overcomes will inherit all this
And I will be his God and he will be my son”

(Rev 21:22-26)
“I did not see a temple in the city
Because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it
For the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp
The nations will walk by its light
And the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it
On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there
The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it”

(Rev 22:1-5)
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life
As clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
Down the middle of the great street of the city
On each side of the river stood the tree of life
Bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month
And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations
No longer will there be any curse
The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city
And his servants will serve him
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads
There will be no more night
They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun
For the Lord God will give them light
And they will reign for ever and ever

(Rev 22:12-13)
"Behold, I am coming soon!
My reward is with me
And I will give to everyone according to what he has done
I am the Alpha and the Omega
The First and the Last
The Beginning and the End”

(Rev 22:16-17)
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel
To give you this testimony for the churches
I am the Root and the Offspring of David
And the bright Morning Star"
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"
And let him who hears say, "Come!"
Whoever is thirsty, let him come
And whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life

(Rev 22:20-21)
“He who testifies to these things says
"Yes, I am coming soon"
Amen, Come, Lord Jesus
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people
Amen

I am a New Order, New Age and New Covenant Gospel Rock and Roller preaching the Gospel to the world in the tradition of Dylan and Springsteen. My songs and spoken words metaphorically interpret the Bible and book of Revelation, helping to shine a light upon Bob Dylan’s lyrical clues. I serve the Spirit of the Lord, and dedicate my eternal Star to serving my King the Holy Spirit of Truth (Isaiah chapter 11 and 2 Corinthians 3:17) and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, the day of God’s Salvation and the New Covenant (Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah chapter 61, 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 8:7-13) by measuring the temple, unsealing the scroll in the book of Revelation and preaching the true metaphoric interpretation of the Gospel to the world inspired by Mt 13:35 and Ps 78:2 that states “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world." (Please note that a Jew and Israelite in a metaphoric interpretation of the Gospel is not a person of Jewish heritage, it is a metaphor for a part of all of us that is a Jew within and another part of us that is a Gentile within -see Romans 2:28-29- and how these two parts become one in Ephesians 2:14-22, Ezekiel 37:15-17 and Romans 3:27-31, also how there are those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars- see Revelations 3:9)
